Admission Policy   

  1. The school has a transparent and fair admission process according to the norms of CBSE.
  2. The admission for any classes is depend upon the availability of seats. 
  3. Admission to any Class shall only be for students who have completed the previous class.
  4. The school provides an opportunity for admission to all students irrespective of caste, creed, gender and religion.
  5. Admissions are considered provisional till submission of required documents.
  6. Selected candidates are required to confirm admission by paying admission fee in full or token money.
  7. The school follows the no donation policy for granting admissions.
  8. Admission is guaranteed as per the criteria set by the School Management.

Pre-Nursery 

3 years to 4 years

Nursery

4 years to 5 years

5 years to 6 years

IX & X

14 years to 16 years

XI to XII

16 years to 18 years

 

Criteria for Assessment & Interaction

Pre-Nursery, Nursery, LKG, UKG & I : Interaction with parents & students

Class II to IX : Assessment on the basis of the result of last class appeared, parent-student interaction.

Senior secondary classes:

  • The student who have passed class X pre board from other school and appeared for class – X board examination.
  • The students who have passed from OVGBS shall be selected on first basis taking into consideration of their marks of Xth class.
  • Those who have qualified in Class X board examination under CBSE / any State Board of Education / ICSE / or equivalent.
  • There is a provision for reservation of 3% seat for the disabled children or physically handicapped, hearing impaired.

The documents as mentioned below are mandatory for admission:

Classes Pre-primary, LKG, UKG & I

  1. Self attested copy of the student’s Birth Certificate.
  2. Original Transfer / Bonafide / Provisional Certificate from previous school for Classes LKG, UKG & I.
  3. Self attested copy of Aadhar Card of parents and students.
  4. Photo copy of the Caste Certificate (if applicable).
  5. Passport size colour photograph of the student – 4 copies.
  6. Passport size photograph of the father, mother or legal guardian, & escorts – 2 copies.

Classes II to IX

  1. Photocopy of the previous and current year class Report Card for Classes II – XI. 
  2. Photo copy of the mark sheet of the proceeding Final Examination shall be submitted after result declaration.
  3. Original Transfer Certificate from previous school for Classes II – XI.
  4. Photo copy of the Migration Certificate (only for students migrating from different board).
  5. Photo copy of the Caste Certificate (if applicable).
  6. Self attested copy of Aadhar Card of parents and students.
  7. Passport size colour photograph of the student – 4 copies.
  8. Passport size photograph of the father, mother or legal guardian, & escorts – 2 copies.

Classes XI

  1. Photocopy of the class X pre-board Report Card.
  2. Copy of class X Board Examination ADMIT 
  3. Self-attested copy of the mark sheet of the class X Board Examination shall be submitted after result declaration.
  4. Original Transfer Certificate from previous school for Classes.
  5. Photo copy of the Migration Certificate (only for students migrating from different board).
  6. Photo copy of the Caste Certificate (if applicable).
  7. Self attested copy of Aadhar Card of parents and students.
  8. Passport size colour photograph of the student – 4 copies.
  9. Passport size photograph of the father, mother or legal guardian, & escorts – 2 copies.

 

N.B: 

    • The school management shall call for the original documents for the purpose of verification.
    • Appearing students may also apply for admission.
    • Please carry the required documents in original for authentication on the day of admission.
    • If the Transfer Certificate is not available at the time of admission, it may be submitted at the time of commencement of the academic session. 

School Fees are to be paid at the time of admission as per ‘Fee Policy’

The payment can be made Cheque, Cash, Bank Transfer, D.D, or, Direct Deposit to the school’s bank account.* Cheque / Draft is to be drawn in favour of the Oil Valley Girls’ & Boys’ School, payable at Dibrugarh.
